The Seahawks dealt Kansas City its first loss of the season on Sunday night, while the Broncos, Lions, and Raiders also secured victories across the league's afternoon and evening slates. Los Angeles defeated Las Vegas, Detroit beat Green Bay, and Denver won in Arizona. The Buccaneers, Vikings, Bengals, and Steelers also prevailed in their respective matchups.
Sam Darnold threw for 257 yards and one touchdown in Seattle's win. He was intercepted in the final seconds of the first half, his eighth pick in the past five games. Darnold was not sacked after taking five sacks in each of the previous two contests. Jaxon Smith-Njigba leads the NFL with 867 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. His 129 receiving yards in the first half marked the most in any half in his career.
Kansas City's receivers produced six receptions for 39 yards without Rashee Rice, who missed the game with a strained right hamstring, and Tyquan Thornton, who is on injured reserve. Brett Veach, the Chiefs' general manager, should continue looking to acquire another receiver ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline. Patrick Mahomes scored a season-low six fantasy points and threw for 165 yards.
The Rams earned their highest-scoring game of the season in their first contest without Davante Adams, who injured a hamstring in Week 6 and will miss another five to nine weeks. Puka Nacua led Los Angeles with 21.8 fantasy points, while Matthew Stafford added 17.5. Kyren Williams has nine lost fumbles since becoming the Rams' starter in 2023, the most of any running back over that span.
Detroit's defense allowed 17 points against Green Bay and held the Packers to 5-of-15 on third down. Brian Branch forced a turnover for the Lions. Jameson Williams caught two touchdowns, making him the third player this season with multiple receiving scores in consecutive games. Green Bay fell to 1-2 against NFC North opponents.
The Broncos won in Arizona despite committing 114 yards in penalties. Bo Nix ran for a 60-yard touchdown and threw for 15-of-29. Since Sean Payton resumed playcalling duties in Week 5, Denver has converted 3-of-11 on third down. Arizona has scored one touchdown in its past two games and is 1-for-10 in the red zone over that span.
Pittsburgh opened the weekend with a win over New Orleans in the NFL's first game held in France. Jaylen Warren carried 18 times for 101 yards. In other action, Tampa Bay beat Carolina as Baker Mayfield returned to the field, Minnesota remained undefeated, and Cincinnati beat Baltimore. The Seahawks host Chicago on Nov. 2 at 8:15 p.m. ET.
