The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Dallas Cowboys in Monday Night Football without starting quarterback Jalen Hurts for the rest of the season. Both teams enter the NFC East matchup with identical 2-4 records. The absence of Hurts, who suffered a blood clot in his calf, forces the Eagles to rely on Tanner McKee at the helm.

McKee threw for 215 yards in last week's 25-14 loss to the Carolina Panthers. The Eagles have lost four straight games after winning their first two contests. Their offense averaged just 14.5 points during that four-game losing streak. The running game has been particularly stagnant, with the team rushing for only 35 yards behind a line weakened by injuries, retirements, and trades.

Running back Saquon Barkley is expected to return after missing two games with a hamstring injury. His return would be a major boost for Philadelphia, as Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley are both on the injured reserve list. The Eagles rank 27th in the NFL, allowing 363.8 yards per game. They will face a Dallas defense that allows the third-most yards in the league, totaling 382.5 per game.

The Cowboys have maintained a potent offense despite their recent struggles. Dak Prescott leads the team with 1,639 passing yards and 10 touchdown passes, placing him fourth in the NFL. He has also thrown five interceptions, two of which occurred in last week's 23-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens have combined for 81 receptions and 1,005 yards. Dallas averages more than 25 points per contest.

The SportsLine model predicts the Cowboys will win this contest in 62% of simulations. Shares for a Dallas victory are trading at $0.66 on the Kalshi prediction market. The model also projects the teams will combine for fewer than 44.5 points in 54% of simulations. That outcome is trading at $0.51, while a total of 45 points or more is priced at $0.50.

The two teams allow just over 49 points per game combined. Prediction markets like Kalshi are regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. These platforms offer tools such as trading breaks and voluntary opt-outs to help users manage risk. Event contracts involve a risk of substantial loss and are subject to eligibility requirements in various jurisdictions.
